Republic of the Philippines PROVINCE OF DINAGAT ISLANDS Municipality of Basilisa BIDS AND AWARDS COMMITTEE INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID The Municipal Government of Basilisa has received for a loan from Land Bank of the Philippines towards the cost of financing for the purchase of Heavy Equipments for the Solid Waste Management Project and maintenance and opening of Farm to Market Roads. The Municipality of Basilisa through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites suppliers/manufacturers/distributors to apply for eligibility and to bid for the hereunder project: Name of Project:

Location: Municipal Government Center, Basilisa, Dinagat Islands Brief Description: 1. Brand New Type Hydraulic Excavator w/ bucket capacity of 0.8cu.m. w/ 145php (108Kw) 2100r/min and operating weight of Twenty (20) tons 2. Brand new Six (6) Wheeler Dumptruck left hand drive Heavy Duty w/ Rated power of 266hp (196kw)/2200 rpm with body volume of 7cu.m. Synchromesh, 6 forward 1 reverse, constant mesh 7 forward 1 reverse (option) and front axle of Steering with double T-cross section beam and Planetary rear axle with different lock. Approved Budget: Php 23,000,000.00 Source of Fund: Supplementary Budget No. 3 for FY 2009 Delivery Period: 120 days after receipt of Letter of Credit Prospective bidders should have experience in undertaking a similar project within the last five (5) years with the amount of at least 50% of the proposed project for bidding and the company should be in existence of not less ten years. The Eligibility Check/Screening as well as Preliminary Examination of bids shall use non-Discretionary “pass/fail” criteria. Post –qualification of the lowest calculated bid shall be conducted. All particulars relative to Eligibility Statement and Screening, Bid Security 2% of the ABC Performance Security, Pre-Bidding Conferences, Evaluation of Bids, Post Qualification and Award of the Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provision of R.A. 9184 and its implementing Rules and Regulations (IRRA).
